A series of practical masterclasses run by outside professionals for student entrepreneurs, or anyone who is interested!
The event runs each week in Room 1.06, Merchant Venturers Building from 18.00-19.30. We then decamp to Friska on Queens Road for a drink/a bite to eat and to carry on the conversation.
As a bit of a bonus, attendance at MMB can also count towards your Bristol PLuS Award.

(Week 1) 28th January, 6pm How to win the New Enterprise Competition
The annual New Enterprise Competition (NEC) is the university's flagship business idea challenge. The competition is open to students, staff, and alumni who have graduated within five years of the competition year. Whilst there are different stages to the competition all you really need is an original idea.
It’s open to both commercial and social enterprises, and includes everything from simple conceptual ideas through to businesses in their first year of trading. Each year the total prize pot is around £35,000, all kindly donated by our sponsors. This includes cash prizes, packages of legal support, and business acceleration services. Come along to hear Dave Jarman, Head of Enterprise Education for the university, tell you what you need to do to stand the best chance of success! (Week 2) 4th February, 6pm Watertight Marketing
